Since we are now the official owners of a lake house at Reynolds Plantation, we decided that it would be fun to go to the lake and spend one night in our new digs -- even though we don't have a single piece of furniture there yet! So we loaded up the cars with air mattresses, Will's pack-n-play, and pillows/blankets etc. and headed over there on Saturday morning. Emily brought two friends (Chandler and Mary Sims) and they were a big help watching Will while we met with the electronics guy and did other errands to get started on stocking up the house. Saturday night we went to Linger Longer Steakhouse for dinner to celebrate! Will did a great job at dinner being a little gentleman and letting us enjoy our yummy steaks. On Sunday, we took everyone over to the Lake Club to check out the swimming pools and dining facilities. Will loved running around and checking everything out and it was so nice to have such wide open spaces to let him roam about. But I think all the running finally wore him out because he was fast asleep about 2 minutes after we backed out of the driveway to go home (see pic!) We are so excited to be a part of this beautiful community and we can't wait to spend lots of weekends in the coming years at our peaceful new vacation home at Lake Oconee!!
