Well, the time had come to finally snip that wispy baby blond hair that Will has worked so hard to grow over the last 20 months, so off we went to "Pigtails and Crewcuts" -- the children's haircuttery of choice in Buckhead (what a brilliant marketing ploy -- $23 for the "First Haircut Package" which just means they snap a Polaroid and put some hair in a baggy! :)
So Stephen, Will and I showed up on Saturday, waited about 15 minutes -- they have a great waiting room for kids with every toy you can imagine stocked up in there -- and finally it was our turn! At first, Will was pretty happy because he got to sit in the "car" chair, eat animal crackers and play with his new red ball. As they started to snip-snip, Mommy and Daddy pulled out all the stops to make Will smile but soon, he realized what was going on, and things started to deteriorate. Oh well....it was over before he knew it and those blond locks are now a little more shapely!! And Mommy has her keepsake locks to put in the baby book!
