The reason we have not been blogging this week is that Will and I are both recovering from our weekend trip to Colorado to visit my mom (Grammy)! We had lots of fun, but the travel part of the trip is not so fun (especially for Mommy aka: Sherpa). Will did great on both the flights and since we flew first class, we got fed, which kept Will entertained for at least 30 minutes each way. Plus, we had Elmo on video so the 3 hr. plane ride went as well as can be expected with a 1 year old. Once we got to Greeley, we enjoyed our time at my mom's senior living center and celebrated her birthday on Friday afternoon with a cake for the entire group that lives there which we ordered ahead of time and was a surprise for Grammy! Saturday we spent the day with Will's cousins (Calvin and Alex), my brother, Mike and his wife, Gena and also 2 of my aunts and 1 uncle on my dad's side (Betty, Rene and Larry). It was great to see the Foxhoven clan and after lunch we took the kids to a nearby park, which Will absolutely LOVED!! As you can see from the pics, it was beautiful weather in Colorado and Saturday night was a full moon which Will got to see and went crazy pointing at and saying "Moo, Moo." All in all it was a great trip as you'll see from the pics attached to this posting!!
