We got back from our trip to Cabo about 2 weeks ago, but little Will still has his tan and several new words he picked up while we were there ("pool", "beach" and calling Stephen and I a combo name of "Mommydaddy" -- this resulted I think because he was not used to having us both around 24/7, but now whenever he is calling for me or Stephen, he just says "Mommydaddy") The resort completely catered to the preschool crowd, and had several "gifts" for Will in our room when we checked in....a HUGE basket full of sand toys, a little bag of special baby shampoos and bubble bath (this was really for me!) and on Will's birthday, they sent a pint-sized chocolate cake which we all helped him devour. The pool (as you will see from the photos) was great for the little ones because the shallow area was really large and had lots of diversions for a 2-year old (fountains, rocks, bubbles). Another great thing about this resort is their Kids Club, which Will went to with a sitter a couple of the days we were there. They had a giant sandbox, toys, art projects....it was like a full-scale preschool right within the resort grounds. Every day since we have returned, Will has looked at me and said "pool, pool" because he had so much fun swimming and playing in the water. He also loved the food -- especially the chicken fingers and fries, which was his daily lunch out by the pool. And the food for adults was great too! It was wonderful to go to a resort that catered to both adults and kids alike!! Last note: This will probably be a 2-part posting because we took so many great pictures and it's hard to view the posting if the line of pictures gets too long...so stay tuned for more from our beautiful beach vacation!
