Atlanta Boat Show!!

This past weekend we headed down to the Atlanta Boat Show at the World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. Since spring is quickly approaching, we are starting to think about buying a boat. The boat show was a great opportunity to learn about the different options and we had our ace-in-the-hole with us, Molly, who knows all sorts of stuff about boats given the amount of hours she has logged on Lake Burton!! Additionally, it was great fun for Will who got to climb ALL over the boats and pretend he was driving (although he kept saying "car, car" when he was in the captain's chair -- to him, if it has a steering wheel, it's a car). By the end of the afternoon, we had zeroed in on the boat of our dreams -- the Cobalt 242 -- and we are plannng to test drive one this weekend at the Lake (the pictures of that boat are at the end of this post). As we left the show we also stopped by the tubing exhibit to get Molly's advice on which tubes are the best....they had this one that looked like a giant bowl and so we put Will inside of it....I think that was Will's vote, but he won't be tubing yet for several years (and his overly-cautious mom is thankful for that!)
